Tory Enerson: Head of School
Tory Enerson joined the Apple Staff in 2016. She began her journey with Montessori over 20 years ago when first her daughter and then her twin boys joined a small one-room Montessori school in Columbia, MD. The care and respect for the child, the process of learning and the beautiful learning environment enticed her into the classroom. She began in the classroom as a substitute teacher, then as an assistant, and for the last twelve years a certified Montessori teacher. Tory holds an American Montessori Society (AMS) Early Childhood Credential and has a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She enjoys her role at Apple Montessori supporting the learning environment for both the children and the adults and working with the talented and dedicated staff.
During the summer Tory is a teacher trainer at the Montgomery Montessori Institute.
Marshetta Davis
Marshetta Davis joined Apple Montessori in 2008 as a Montessori Assistant Teacher. She is currently a Lead Teacher in our Primary Class. She has her Montessori Teaching Credential and recently earned her B.S. in early childhood education. Marshetta also leads our Art Program! She loves working with the children and sharing her love of music and art. She also enjoys stimulating the children’s imagination through books and the creation of original stories with the children. Outside of school Marshetta is very busy as a freelance artist and keeping up with her husband and five children.
Cinthya Burgos
Cinthya Burgos joined Apple Montessori in 2009 as a teacher’s assistant. She found the experience so rewarding she took the Montessori Training at the Montgomery Montessori Institute and received her AMS diploma for Infants and Toddlers. Cinthya holds a B.A. in Biology from the Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru. Cinthya came to Apple with over 14 years experience in child care including working with autistic children. She truly enjoys her Two-Year-Old class and strives to help the children become independent and confident individuals. Cinthya also teaches the Cooking and Spanish classes offered to the Primary afternoon class.
Nicole Dominguez
Nicole Dominguez is working with Miss Cinthya in the Two-Year-Old class. She enjoys working with young children and is working to become a certified teacher. She spends her free time working with dogs and running.
Moshira Zelenka
Moshira Zelenka started at Apple in 2019. She is currently serving in the Primary Extended Day program. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her many years working in schools in the area.
Amy Beam
Amy Beam has worked at Apple Montessori for over thirty years. At first she taught Spanish classes and drama. However she found her true love in sharing her passion for the outdoors with the children. Every other Wednesday she takes the children outside to participate in Beyond the Walls a nature awareness program.
